함께 걷는 길 Walking Together (여호수아 1:5)

요즘은 하루하루가 참 빠르게 흘러가요.
아이를 재우고 나면 겨우 조용한 시간이 찾아오고,
그제야 묵상 노트를 펼 수 있어요.
오늘도 그렇게 하루의 끝에서 하나님 앞에 앉았습니다.

These days, each day seems to pass in a blur.
Only after putting my child to bed do I finally find a moment of stillness,
and that’s when I open my devotional notebook.
Tonight again, I sit before God at the end of the day.

오늘 묵상한 말씀은 여호수아 1장 5절,
"내가 너를 떠나지 아니하며, 버리지 아니하리라."
새로운 시작 앞에 두려움에 떨고 있는 여호수아에게
하나님이 직접 주신 약속이에요.

Today’s verse is from Joshua 1:5:
“I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
It was a personal promise from God
to Joshua, who was trembling before a new beginning.

이 말씀을 읽는데, 요즘 제 마음이 꼭 여호수아 같았어요.
새로운 시도들 앞에서 자주 자신 없어지고,
실패가 두려워 때론 포기하고 싶은 마음도 들어요.
오늘도 3D 모델링을 하다가 너무 어려워서
“이건 그냥 사버릴까?” 싶더라고요.

As I read this, I realized—my heart has felt like Joshua’s.
I often lose confidence in front of new challenges,
and fear of failure tempts me to give up.
Even today, while working on a 3D model, it felt so hard
I caught myself thinking, “Maybe I should just buy an asset instead.”

그런데 문득, 주찬이가 떠올랐어요.
처음에는 걷지도 못하던 아이가
요즘은 한 손만 잡아줘도 잘 따라오고,
블록도 제법 잘 쌓고, 말도 더 또렷해졌어요.
매일매일, 넘어지고 다시 일어서면서 자라고 있더라고요.

Then suddenly, I thought of Ju-chan.
He couldn’t even walk at first,
but now he follows me just holding one hand,
he stacks blocks better, and he’s speaking more clearly.
Day by day, falling and rising, he’s growing.

아이는 그렇게 놀이를 통해, 반복 속에서 성장해요.
엄마인 저도, 그렇게 매일 연습하며 배우는 거겠죠.
오늘은, 포기하지 않기로 결심했어요.
아직 시간이 있으니, 서툴러도
하나씩 다시 배우는 마음으로 해보려 해요.

Children grow through play and repetition.
And as a mother, I’m learning and practicing too—day by day.
Today, I decided not to give up.
Since I still have time, even if I’m clumsy,
I’ll keep going with a heart willing to start again.

하나님은 여호수아에게 약속하셨어요.
“내가 모세와 함께 있었던 것 같이, 너와도 함께 있을 것이다.”
이 말씀 안에서, 저도 하나님이
오늘도, 그리고 내일도 나와 함께하심을 믿어보기로 했어요.

God made a promise to Joshua:
“As I was with Moses, so I will be with you.”
And in that same promise, I’ve decided to trust
that God is with me today and tomorrow.

사랑하는 주찬아,
너도 자라면서 많은 걸 배우고 연습하게 될 거야.
그때마다 기억해줘.
하나님은 늘 함께하신단다.
너의 평생에 너를 능히 대적할 자가 없도록
하나님이 너를 지켜주시고 이끌어주실 거야.

My dear Ju-chan,
As you grow, you’ll learn and practice many things.
In those moments, remember this:
God is always with you.
There will be no one who can truly stand against you,
because God Himself will lead and protect you all your life.

🙏 기도 Prayer
주님, 제가 새로운 걸 시작할 때마다
두려움보다 동행하시는 하나님을 기억하게 해주세요.
내가 잘해서가 아니라,
끝까지 함께하시는 주님의 신실하심 때문에
오늘도 한 걸음 내딛을 수 있음을 믿습니다.
우리 가정 가운데, 주찬이의 삶 가운데
그 약속이 실제로 경험되게 해주세요.
예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

Lord, whenever I start something new,
remind me that You are with me.
Not because I’m strong, but because You are faithful.
Help me take the next step in trust.
Let this promise be real in our home and in Ju-chan’s life.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

🔍 관찰 Observation
하나님은 여호수아에게 "떠나지 않겠다"고 말씀하셨어요.
그건 단지 위로가 아니라, 삶 전체에 대한 확신이에요.
전쟁터로 나아가는 여호수아에게 주신
아주 구체적이고 실제적인 약속이죠.

God’s promise to Joshua wasn’t just comforting—it was a declaration.
It was a very real assurance for a man stepping into the unknown.
“Just like I was with Moses, I’ll be with you.”
That’s the kind of promise we still carry today.
