기도의 태도 The Posture of Prayer (마가복음 11:24)
요즘은 아이를 재우다 함께 잠드는 날이 많아졌어요.
자꾸 묵상을 놓치게 되는 게 속상하지만,
오늘은 늦게라도 말씀 앞에 앉아봅니다.
비 오는 하루, 어린이집도 못 가고 병원 검진도 다녀오느라
몸도 마음도 분주했던 날이었어요.
These days, I often fall asleep while putting Ju-chan to bed.
It makes me feel a bit disappointed that I keep missing my devotional time,
but tonight, even though it’s late, I’ve sat down with the Word.
It’s been a rainy day—we skipped daycare and went to the hospital for a checkup.
It was a full and busy day, both physically and mentally.
예수님이 무화과나무를 저주하신 뒤,
그 나무가 실제로 말라버린 것을 보고 놀란 제자들에게 하신 말씀이에요.
예수님은 그 자리에서 "하나님을 믿으라"고 하시며
믿음으로 기도하는 법을 가르쳐 주셨어요.
Jesus said this after He cursed the fig tree,
and the disciples were amazed to see it had withered.
In that moment, Jesus taught them how to pray with faith,
saying, “Have faith in God.”
“이건 가능할까? 혹시 안 되면 어쩌지…”
이미 마음속에서 가능성과 불가능을 계산하고 있는 제 모습을 떠올렸어요.
되면 좋고, 안 되면 말고—그런 기도는
기도가 아니라 걱정에 더 가까운 것 같아요.
As I reflected, I realized how often I pray with doubt:
“Is this even possible? What if it doesn’t happen?”
I often calculate outcomes before I even pray.
Sometimes my prayers are more like cautious hopes
than true conversations of trust.
그런 저에게 예수님은 말씀하셨어요.
“받은 줄로 믿으라.”
그건 단순히 ‘원하면 다 이루어진다’는 뜻이 아니라,
하나님이 지금도 일하고 계심을 믿고 기도하는 태도를 말하는 거예요.
To someone like me, Jesus says,
“Believe that you have received it.”
This doesn’t mean we get everything we want,
but it means we trust that God is already at work—
even before we see results.
눈에 보이지 않아도 하나님은 움직이고 계시고,
그 믿음이 삶의 결을 바꾸어 가는 거겠죠.
Even when we can’t see it, God is moving.
And that kind of faith—quiet and certain—
is what begins to shape the rhythm of our lives.
믿음으로 기도하는 사람은 결국 응답의 열매를 맺어요.
그리고 그 열매는, 그 사람의 인생 방향을 새롭게 만들죠.
Those who pray in faith eventually bear the fruit of answered prayer.
And that fruit—real and personal—can change the course of a life.
저도, 우리 가정도
그런 응답의 이야기를 써 내려가는 중이라는 마음이 들어요.
조용하고 느리지만, 분명히 쓰이고 있는 하나님의 이야기.
I believe my family and I
are also living out such a story of answered prayers—
one that is quiet, slow,
but surely being written by God.
사랑하는 주찬아,
기도는 ‘가능성’을 따지는 게 아니란다.
하나님을 신뢰하는 마음으로
무엇이든 구하는 거야.
엄마는 지금도,
그리고 앞으로도
네 삶 가운데 하나님이 일하시고 계심을
믿음으로 바라보며 기도할 거야.
눈에 보이지 않아도,
기도는 하나님께 닿고 있단다.
My dear Ju-chan,
Prayer isn’t about calculating chances.
It’s about trusting God.
Even now, Mommy is praying for you—
believing that God is already working in your life.
Even when we don’t see it,
prayer always reaches His heart.

🙏 기도 Prayer
주님, 기도할 때 의심보다 믿음이 앞서게 해주세요.
결과를 내 마음대로 예측하기보다,
하나님이 이미 일하고 계심을 신뢰하며
감사로 기도하게 해주세요.
Lord, help my faith lead when I pray—
not my doubt or expectations.
Let me trust that You are already working,
and pray with a thankful heart.
🔍 관찰 Observation
예수님은 기도에 대해 단순하고 분명하게 말씀하셨어요.
무엇이든지 기도하고 구할 때,
이미 받은 줄로 믿으라고요.
이 말은 우리가 결과를 보기 전에
하나님의 응답을 먼저 신뢰하라는 뜻이에요.
Jesus spoke plainly about prayer.
When you pray, believe that you’ve already received it.
This means trusting God’s answer even before we see the result.
It’s about faith, not sight.
👣 적용 Application
앞으로는 기도할 때
"될까?"보다 **"하나님은 하실 수 있어."**를 먼저 떠올리기.
오늘 하루, 작고 사소한 기도 제목도
믿음으로 올려드리는 연습을 해보자.
아이를 위한 기도, 가정을 위한 기도…
계산이 아닌 믿음의 태도로 드려보자.
From now on, when I pray,
I want to replace “What if this doesn’t work?”
with “God is able.”
Even for the small things,
I’ll try praying with faith, not calculation—
especially for my child and our family.
