평화를 걷는 길 The Path of Peace (미가 6:8)
요즘 하루하루가 참 분주하게 지나가요.
아이를 재우고 나면, 겨우 조용한 시간이 찾아오고
그제야 묵상 노트를 펼 수 있어요.
오늘도 그렇게 하루의 끝에서 하나님 앞에 앉아봅니다.
These days, each day passes by in a blur.
Only after putting Ju-chan to bed do I finally get a moment of quiet—
and that’s when I open my devotional notebook.
Tonight again, I sit before God at the end of a long day.
이란, 이스라엘, 팔레스타인…
누군가는 다치고, 또 누군가는 떠나야 하는 현실.
종교, 정치, 자원, 권력—참 복잡한 이유들이 얽혀 있지만, 그 모든 혼란 속에서도 하나님의 뜻은 분명하다고 믿어요.
Lately, the news is full of reports about war.
Iran, Israel, Palestine...
People are hurting. People are fleeing.
Yes, there are many complex reasons—religion, politics, resources, power—
but even in all this chaos, I believe God’s will remains clear.
오늘 묵상한 말씀처럼요.
“정의를 행하고, 인자를 사랑하며, 겸손하게 하나님과 함께 걷는 것.”
참 단순하면서도, 너무 분명한 말씀.
하나님은 우리가 어떻게 살아가야 할지
이미 다 보여주셨다는 그 말씀이 위로처럼 다가왔어요.
Just like today’s verse:
“To act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.”
So simple, yet so clear.
The thought that God has already shown us how to live—
it felt like a gentle comfort to my heart.
전쟁은 이런 말씀을 따라 살기 참 어려운 환경이에요.
정의와 사랑이 사라지고, 겸손한 대화는 점점 줄어들죠.
그래서 더더욱, 이 말씀이 지금 이 시대에 꼭 필요한 기준이라는 생각이 들어요.
살기 좋은 세상 만들자고,
하나님이 우리에게 맡기신 마음 같아요.
War makes it so hard to live out this kind of truth.
Justice disappears, love fades, and humble dialogue grows scarce.
And maybe that’s exactly why this verse matters so much today.
It feels like God’s quiet assignment to us—
to build a better world, even in small ways.
하나님은 전쟁을 기뻐하지 않으셔.
하나님은 평화를 만드시는 분이시고,
우리가 그 평화의 도구가 되기를 바라신단다.
사람을 미워하기보다 이해하고,
보복보다 용서를 선택하는 사람이 되렴.
그게 진짜 강한 사람이란다.
My dear Ju-chan,
God doesn’t delight in war.
He is the Maker of peace,
and He wants us to be His peacemakers.
Choose understanding over hatred,
forgiveness over revenge—
that’s what it means to be truly strong.

“사람아 주께서 선한 것이 무엇임을 네게 보이셨나니
여호와께서 네게 구하시는 것은
오직 정의를 행하며 인자를 사랑하며
겸손하게 네 하나님과 함께 행하는 것이 아니냐.”
미가 6:8
“He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God.”

🙏 기도 | Prayer
주님, 전쟁의 소식을 들으며 기도합니다.
이란과 이스라엘, 팔레스타인 땅 위에
미움보다 이해, 보복보다 용서를 선택하는 사람들이 일어나게 하소서.
저희 가정이 그 평화의 작은 통로가 되게 하소서.
Lord, as we hear the news of war, we lift our prayers.
May people rise up who choose understanding over hatred,
and forgiveness over revenge in Iran, Israel, and Palestine.
Let our home be a small vessel of peace.
🔍 관찰 | Observation
하나님은 이미 우리에게 무엇이 선한 것인지 알려주셨어요.
정의롭고, 자비롭고, 겸손하게 하나님과 함께 걷는 것.
복잡하거나 멀게만 느껴지는 기준이 아니라
삶의 가장 작은 곳에서 실천할 수 있는 하나님의 마음이에요.
God has already shown us what is good:
to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with Him.
It’s not an unreachable ideal—
it’s a way of living God’s heart in the smallest parts of life.
🪞 적용 | Application
아이 앞에서 누군가를 쉽게 판단하지 않도록,
작은 말과 행동에도 사랑과 겸손이 담기도록
오늘 하루도 기도하며 살아가려 해요.
우리 가정이 먼저 평화의 씨앗을 심는 삶을 살아가길 소망해요.
I want to be careful not to judge others too quickly, especially in front of my child.
I hope that even in small words and gestures,
my heart reflects love and humility.
I pray our home becomes a place where peace takes root first.
